Study Program

Der Masterstudiengang Process Engineering (MPE) vermittelt in drei Semestern fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in der chemischen und thermischen Verfahrenstechnik sowie der Biotechnologie.  Darüber hinaus erhalten Studierende eine wichtige Ausbildung in interkulturellen Kompetenzen, die in dem zunehmend multikulturellen Umfeld der Verfahrenstechnik unabdingbare Qualifikationen sind.

Das MPE-Programm wird gemeinsam von der Hochschule Offenburg in Deutschland und der Universität Ermland und Masuren (UWM) in Olsztyn in Polen durchgeführt. Der Studienplan sieht drei Semester vor, die sich aus zwei Semestern theoretischen Studiums und einem Semester für die Anfertigung der Masterarbeit zusammensetzen.

Die Wintersemester finden in Deutschland und die Sommersemester in Polen statt. Die Masterarbeit kann entweder an einer Universität, einer anderen Einrichtung, einem Forschungsinstitut oder einem Industrieunternehmen an einem Ort der Wahl geschrieben werden.

Die einzelnen Lehrveranstaltungen des Studiengangs sind in thematisch zusammenhängende Module gegliedert. Für die Absolvierung aller geforderten Module (90 ECTS) benötigt ein Student drei Semester. Der erfolgreiche Abschluss aller Module führt zur Verleihung des Titels "Master of Science in Process Engineering".

Diese Studienordnung besteht aus einem allgemeinen Teil und einem besonderen Teil.  Der allgemeine Teil der Studienordnung umfasst die Themen, die für alle Masterstudiengänge gelten. Für jeden einzelnen Masterstudiengang gibt es einen besonderen Teil, in dem die studiengangsspezifischen Regelungen erläutert werden.
